evaii is a tool that analyzes a job posting and tells a freelancer how much of it AI could handle, what that does to their effective hourly rate, and what to bid. This page explains exactly what data is involved. It applies both to the website at evaii.eu and to the evaii browser extension.

What we process

• The job posting text. When you run an analysis, the text of the job posting is sent to our server and forwarded to an AI model to produce the report. We do not store the job text after the analysis is returned.
• Job pricing details. The budget or hourly range, the number of competing bids, and similar public details shown on the job page, used to make the analysis accurate.
• Your settings. Your usual hourly rate and your AI experience level. In the extension these are stored locally in your browser (Chrome's storage), not on our server, unless you submit them with an analysis.
• Your email address. The browser extension allows three free analyses. After that, an email address is required to continue using it. We store it on our server so we know who is using evaii and can follow up with users about the product — new features, and eventually pricing. On the website, giving your email is optional.
• Feedback you choose to send us.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
• We do not read your Upwork account, messages, contacts, or any page other than the job posting you are looking at when you click the button.
• We do not track your browsing across the web.
• We do not store the job postings you analyze.

The AI model

Analyses are produced by sending the job text to an AI model, which generates the report. We do not use your data to train any model, and the job text is not retained after the analysis is returned.

The browser extension

The extension only runs on Upwork job pages. It reads the visible job posting on the page you are viewing, and only when you click the "Should you bid?" button. It does not run in the background, and it does not access other tabs or sites.

It requests two permissions: storage (to remember your hourly rate and settings) and access to evaii.eu (to send the job text for analysis). Nothing else.

Your email

The browser extension gives you three analyses for free. To continue past that, you need to provide an email address. We ask for it so we can follow up with the people actually using evaii — to tell you about new features and, eventually, pricing.

We use it for that and nothing else. We will not sell it, and we will not send you unrelated marketing. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@evaii.eu.

Data retention

Job postings and analyses are not retained. Emails and feedback are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

evaii is operated from Norway and follows the GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — in practice, your email address and any feedback you sent. Contact us and we will action it.
